This is an introduction to the requirements for membership application to our detachment of the Marine Corps League.  It's really pretty simple.  You need to send us three items.

A completed application and you have two choices for submission of the application.

A check for $29.00, payable to "McKinley Detachment MCL"

Proof that you served at least 90 days active duty (or an equivalent amount of reserve duty, such as USMCR) and that it was served under honorable conditions.

In return you will receive a subscription to the "MARINE CORPS LEAGUE MAGAZINE", membership card, and lapel pin.

Finally, we ask that you agree to actively support the Marine Corps League and the McKinley Detachment's programs and by-laws and that you will make a conscious effort to attend all functions and meetings.

If you desire you can attach a separate sheet with some personal information including major units that you served with, personal decorations, a brief summary of your Marine Corps duties, current hobbies, special skills and qualifications, organizations, your spouse's name and children's names and ages, and any other information you feel is important or nice to know about you.  This is voluntary information and will be held in strict confidence.  If any part of this information is sensitive to you, please do not include it.  This ATTACHED information will not be let without your prior consent.
